Un Caddie Renversé dans l'Herbe

Nighturns
*In process of stocking* 'Nighturns (deliberate spelling) finally introduces a new album by Bilal Dídac P. Lagarriga aka Un Caddie Renversé dans l'Herbe (lives in Barcelona, born in São Paulo, Brazil, 1976) after several years of silence. Dídac was the first artist on my old Dekorder label back in 2003 so our relationship goes a long way back. Like A Packed Cupboard But Quite...
First full length, full size album by Dekorder (Matt Wand, Black To Comm, John Hegre, a.o.) and it is dedicated to Un Caddie Renversé dans l’Herbe the meta-global wunderkind from Sao Paulo, Brazil, now residing in Barcelona, Spain, that uses all these weird instruments from far away continents to find and refine subtle yet exciting tracks. His label Ooze.Bap concentrates the larger part of his releases since 2000. His last release before this new 3"CD is "Some Nenu Songs" (panafrobraz…
Atlas saltA (Map Lies, Border Lies...)
On his third release for Dekorder Didac Lagarriga is opening his sound towards a more open, less formal and repetitive style, mixing field recordings, instruments from Africa and South East Asia and surreal voices into a floating freeform sound. Including the most beautiful love song I have ever heard.
