"Superscience" follows their recent collaboration with Moskitoo "Superstition", released by 12k in April, 2020. The work was recorded at Ochiai Soup in Tokyo on May 11th of 2019 as part of the label’s showcase 9+1=0. “MLMC Live at Punctum” marks the return of media artist, performer and experimental musician Aloïs Yang to 901 Editions after his immersive sound explorations on “Micro Loop Macro Cycle” (2018). “Micro Loop Macro Cycle” is made up of installation, performance, video, and digital releases that investigate environmental cycles through the studies of various states of water. It invites participants to consider their profound relationship to the element of water through technology, and the combined …
“Un Fiocco Di Neve” (Italian word for snowflake) is one of the possible crystallisations of an ongoing project called Nucleazione (Nucleation), started in 2017 and consisting of the accumulation of over 200 sound files and silences pulled together and randomly overlapped with no control. The five compositions of this album originate from a series of auto-generative methods, which I found brought me to new listening experiences in the process of composing. I trace my steps back to a decentered, l…

"After a near decade of solo and collaborative projects, Up in Air is Ben Pritchard's most confident foray into songwriting yet, nestling lopsided experimentation into a bed of lowslung blues and reflective folk." Featuring collaborators Sholto Dobie on self-built organs, and bassist Otto Willberg.
* 500 copies. 180 gr. Red vinyl, 50th anniversary edition * First album from the one of the best Italian jazz-rock band (formed in Rome in 71), and the first of a few masterpieces in a row, all of them being distinctive from one another. Perigeo has their sound somewhere between Free Jazz, Soft Machine, Nucleus and Miles Davis' Bitches Brew period. Rising on spacey noises, the sublime Posto Di Non Dove starts to grab you with a quiet electric piano over a Floyd-like organ and Tommaso’s superb …
* 500 copies, 180 gr. Blue vinyl *The lost live album by the late great Demetrio Stratos, Area's vocalist and leader. Recorded back in 1978, this album has been the missing title in the remastered reissue series on Cramps.
Persona's "The Game of Changes" was created by artist Roberto Campadello in the early 1970s. The game consists of a semi-reflective mirror, two candles and a 10" record (now an expanded LP). This game of light, shadow, reflection and transparency, allied to an immersive soundtrack, causes the players' faces to merge and create a new creature with each movement, where there is no longer you or me, only You. To compose the soundtrack Roberto invited Luiz Carlini, who called his partners from Tutti…

"This is a new release on the Italian label Superpang. I first met Giovanni Di Domenico, an Italian musician living in Brussels, 15 years ago. We hardly ever had the chance to play music together, and when I went to Europe just before Corona, I made this album based on a session recorded in his studio. After returning to Japan, I edited and dubbed in additional synths and strings. A fresh collaboration with an old friend, I hope you'll give it a listen! Big thanks to Tony for the great design an…
*Edition of 200. Mirror cover, transparent vynil* "Beautiful release on Yan Jun’s Sub Jam label. Toshimaru Nakamura was the first one that I ever saw using a no-input mixer, already in the 1990s. What exactly Yan Jun’s open-input feedback means, I am not sure, but I love the noise coming from both! Some sounds are as if they come from distorted guitar, I hear earth hums and glitches, there are a lot of different dynamics and small events in the pieces, but all in all it’s enervating music that a…

*2023 stock* Mainly known to DJs for the funk groover "Te Queria", Rota-Mar is the first solo album by the charismatic Zéca do Trombone. During a vertiginous career which started in the late 60s, Zéca was a permanent member of Wilson Simonal's band, toured with Luiz Eça's Sagrada Família (alongside Joyce, Naná Vasconcelos, Nelson Angelo and others), recorded the seminal Brazilian funk "Coluna do Meio" for his joint effort with Roberto Sax, and played and recorded for some of the big names of Bra…
Reissue of Harry Pussy's Ride A Dove, originally released on Siltbreeze in 1996. "By 1996, with one LP, a handful of 7"s, and a couple dozen gigs under their collective belts, Harry Pussy had thoroughly scrambled the mid-90s scuzz-rock ecosystem. Their acclaimed first LP, described by David Keenan as 'a black hole that devoured genre and flattened any attempt to classify it,' fused Japanese noise, '80s hardcore and post-Ayler jazz into a dense, white-hot ball of punk anger and insanity. The band…
Missus Beastly from Herford were among the most famous German psychedelic and jazz-rock bands, with the most confusing history of all of them. Their first LP released on CPM in 1970 - without any title, just like the second LP in 1974 - had a beautiful red cover artwork and is traded today at around 1000 €. The vinyl edition on Garden of Delights comes in the original red gatefold cover and with four-page insert in LP size.
Roberto Laneri's works always convey a clear artistic certainty: a total composer with an eclectic cultural background. In this latest adventure it seems to propose a kind of weird and curious Exotica music; his Mediterranean ragas release glows and shadows, but the music plays more the plateaus of the Maghreb than the Indus Valley. Like a sorcerer piper, the sax shapes alchemy and hypnotic phrasing become: vague dances of camels, ecstatic progressions of an aboriginal vortex or a mystic arabesq…
