*In process of stocking* Silvia Tarozzi and Deborah Walker have emerged as one of the most interesting duos in contemporary improvised music. First introduced to Unseen Worlds through their performance on the Philip Corner recording "Extreemizms: early & late", Tarozzi and Walker elevated recent recordings, Eliane Radigue "Occam Ocean 3", Pascal Criton "Infra", and Tarozzi’s own "Mi specchio e rifletto" to greatness. Their finely tuned sound makes even the most adventurous tones compelling.

*In process of stocking. 200 copies limited release* Deprived of sanity, Paul Régimbeau aka Mondkopf found new territories of expression with »Spring Stories«, a collection of post-rapture moods full of glorious chaos, ready to absorb and re-ignite all that is worn.
As a phoenix raising from the ashes, »Spring Stories« captures the earth in full bloom. Darkness & Insanity looses it´s grips as the roots and fresh leaves creates a slow dance towards the sun. Similarly sine-wave drones move around …
*2022 stock* 'Since the 70's, the club "nu things Jajouka ~ environment 0g [zero-gauge]" produced by Yuzuru Agi has been crossing various scenes such as progressive rock, contemporary music, punk, new wave, industrial, house, techno, and club jazz, and has always been trying to decipher the coming era. This double-CD compilation “a sign 2” featuring 15 artists gathered in the club. The seeds of cutting-edge music that sprouted in the 2010s have blossomed here.' - Satoru Higashiseto
'This is a powerful live recording without any arrangement by Japanese independent music icon Keiji Haino, who has been active in avant-garde activities straddling rock and free music in the underground realm since the 1970s, and Musqis, a performance group with an indefinite number of members led by multi-instrumentalist Hidenori Noguchi. Keiji Haino has been active since the 1970s, playing voice, guitar, hurdy-gurdy, polygonora, and various other instruments in solo performances and in bands su…
Full recording of one of the most engaging and beguiling Late Junction live sessions we’ve ever heard - the one off first meeting between Korean multi-instrumentalist Park Jiha and writer and performer Roy Claire Potter. Park Jiha plays the saenghwang, a Korean mouth organ which she blows in long multiphonics to set pace for Potter’s words. Together they unfurl a scene slowly in front of you, rich and focused, shifting your field of vision and drawing you in, elsewhere. It’s impossible not to f…
This is a DJ mix that uses only material from Vanity Records and remodel, two labels founded by legendary music critic/producer Yuzuru Agi. As if to prove his extraordinary artistic sense , the two labels, separated by almost 40 years, blend together without any sense of discomfort, neutralizing the listener's time axis and distorting the space. This is a work that embodies the paradox that "truly radical expression is universal at the same time".

Special discounted bundle. Aube was the solo project of Akifumi Nakajima (1959 – 2013), begun in 1991. Taking a minimalist approach for his recordings, Nakajima used simple source sounds which were fed into his system, then heavily processed into a vast dimensional landscape of sonic textures. Source sounds ranged from the organic sounds of gurgling water, to isolating elements of technology, such as the curious hum of luminous lamps. The result is a mixture of controlled manipulation and beaut…

This is a DJ mix of more than two hours using only sounds from Vanity Records and remodel(Yasuyuki Nakamura, label owner of remodel), two labels founded by the legendary music critic and producer Yuzuru Agi. A collection of unreleased mixes by R.N.A. Organism, a unit representing the postpunk era in Japan that is gaining momentum for reevaluation. The unit's only LP, "R.N.A.O Meets P.O.P.O" (Vanity 0006, 1980), featured supercheap alternative-dub with various gadgets against a backdrop of urban aphorism and electrominimalism. Their sound has been described as "Japan's original mutant pop" mainly overseas, and their reissue of Vanity's work has been a hot topic.
In 2020, they released "Unaffected Mix…
Founded in 1978 by Rock Magazine editor-in-chief Yuzuru Agi, Vanity Records captured the cutting-edge musical trends of its time, including new bands working with post-punk values, alternative approaches by musicians who had been in bands, and electronic and industrial music as the cutting edge of the times. Vanity Records is said to be one of the first independent labels in Japan, and is an indispensable part of the independent/indie music scene in Japan from the late 70s to the early 80s. The …
Tip! Aube is a noise project by Akifumi Nakajima, born in Kyoto in 1959. Since the 1980s, he has been using synthesizers and other devices to create small-scale sounds as a hobby. In 1990, he was in charge of the music for the installation "Water 1990" by the artists Soichi Arichi and Takashi Sasaoka, and in 1991, he began his external musical activities as Aube. The same year, he released his debut cassette "Hydrophobia" on Vanilla Records. In 1992, he established G.R.O.S.S., an independent lab…

Reissue of the third album by the German band Wallenstein, originally released in 1973. Recorded at the Dierks Studios by Dieter Dierks, the group consisted of bandleader Jürgen Dollase, Harald Grosskopf (drums), Dieter Meier (bass), Bill Barone (guitar), and Joachim Reiser (violin). In 2022 the original analog masters were newly remastered. An elaborate work, which has led to a very good result.
Releasing electroacoustic music in this country has historically, always been a dedicated persuit. With no national record labels and very few electronic music studios to support this music, the UK has always lagged behind its counterparts in both the United States and throughout east and west Europe. Trevor Wishart started releasing his own music in 1973 and continues to do so to this day. Much of this LP was originally privately released in 1979. Whilst other maverick British composers (Nyman,…

"Gorgeous debut LP by a new Belgian duo made up of Annelies Monseré and Steve Marreyt. Steve has been active in a lot of places. I believe I first ran into his work as a member of the folk-psych collective, Silvester Anfang, but he has had his hands in a lot of pots (as it were). Annelies has a long recording history as well, with many fine and floating sides out there to prove it. The pair have known each other for a good long while. Steve appears on a couple of Annelies' albums, and they previ…
In 2009, Klaus D. Mueller and Schulze began releasing La Vie Electronique ("The Electronic Life"), a series of three-CD sets that reissued all the material previously released in these long-deleted box sets, plus a few unreleased tracks, with all the material put back in chronological sequence (the Edition sets mixed things up, time line-wise). Volume 1 covers the years 1968-1972 and is mainly very interesting. One highlight is "I Was Dreaming I Was Awake and Then I Woke Up and Found Myself Asle…
The new record by Eric Chenaux is his most immaculate and pristine. Say Laura perfectly incarnates the counter-intuitive interplay of instrument and voice that Chenaux has been revealing and revelling in throughout the past decade: his gently unhinged juxtaposition of resplendently smooth, seductively assured singing and puckish, frazzled, thoroughly destabilized guitar could come from no other musician. The five wandering, wondering ballads on Say Laura bring Chenaux’s semi-improvised but keenl…
