Tenno
Reissue of an LP originally released in 1980 for the mythical Japanese Alm label and mixed by GAP (Taj Mahal Travellers) , this is a duo comprising of a couple, Reiko Omura and Tori Kudo, a noise-drone-improv duo active in the late seventies and early eighties. The group began under the name Worst Noise and with an ever-rotating line-up. This album is a masterpiece, a doomy organ-driven with fragile and melancholic voice by Reiko, don't miss it!
Mail from Fushitsusha
Mail from Fushitsusha, which Keiji Haino himself calls 21st-century blues, draws out exquisite dynamics and 'space' - like a nerve being passed through the eye of a needle. Carrying out their sonic explorations while adhering to the Fushitsusha method, these three tough artists create a muscular sound - a sound that turns the rock - blues concept on its head! Keijo Haino sent Seijaku out into the world as his permanent band. At the time of recording, this was to be a single album, but the combin…
You Should Prepare To Survive Through Even Anything Happens
This is a real blues album created as an expression of devotion to 20th-century blues. But not blues as a style - the object of devotion here is the blues spirit. You might even say this album is the successor to authentic blues. Those who get it, get it! Keijo Haino sent Seijaku out into the world as his permanent band. At the time of recording, this was to be a single album, but the combination of Haino's overflowing musical ideas and the unlimited improvisational abilities of the three member…
Mubomuso
Mubomuso is a neologism, made up from two extant words. Mubo suggests the unadorned and unaffected, while muso means to be in a state without thought or preplanning. All parts of the release lead the listener towards the consideration of a very specific topic Ð namely, war and violence, and the deeper connections to human nature. Stripped of the clothing of civilization, etiquette and socialization, we slowly become aware of reactions and purposes that exist deep within us  embedded comma…

Legendary Live Collection Of Hijokaidan Vol. 7
Just arrived, on of the latest chapter on the serialized live DVDr series by the Japan's longest-running and most legendary (if not the most prolific) noise group, Hijokaidan. This is a video footage recorded on 1989.8.19 At Eggplant, Osaka in a great video quality... and it is actually the 'infamous' one with Junko pissing herself onstage
Galactic Tornado
The conception, the idea, realisation and sound sources of this CD are all based on original sound material (loops and sounds) from Rapoon's “Tribal Sci Fi” CD-ROM (courtesy of Sony/Sonic Foundry). Not the entire original Rapoon's tracks have been re-mixed  or re-composed, but the general “sound” (or the sound aesthetic of Rapoon's music) instead. All the artists have provided their own original compositions, that less or more based on the audio-sources from Rapoon. The album “Galactic Tornado” …

GQ - Jean Tinguely
Beautiful and elaborate edition, a quarterly magazine for graphic work (GQ) issued in the 1970s. The magazine was re-produced in 2008, and the newest issue devoted to kinetic sculptor Jean Tinguely was completed in 2009. Unfortunately most of texts are in Japanese, but many pictures are so great! artwork by Ushio Shinohara (Neo DADA) dedicated to Tinguely (coloured version for this edition), his partner Niki De Saint Phalle's paintings, original photographs of his first one man show at Minami Ga…
Yuji Takahashi / Steve Lacy / Masahiko Togashi

Owner of the egg farm organized many live show of free improvisation at the space (Takayanagi, Evan Parker, Richard Titelbaum, Arthur Doyle and more. especially she loves Kosugi and Steve Lacy).
Live Stockholm July, 1971
"Led by infamous Fluxus member Takehisa Kosugi, Tokyo's Taj Mahal Travellers were one of the prime examples of a band more heard-of than actually heard. Their vinyl legacy (the 1972 LP July 15, 1972 released on CBS/Sony Japan; the 1974 2LP August 1974 released on Columbia Japan and recently reissued by P-Vine as a 2CD; one side of the mythical Oz Days Live 2LP compilation released on Oz in 1973 and recently bootlegged as a single LP) could dig a hole in your wallet deeper than the Grand Canyon. …
Lift
'It was on a night when sleep simply would not come, not matter how long I sprawled on the grass or how many pages of my book I leafed through. The black shaggy 'thing' expelled all the breath in its body. Phu phu phuu. And as it did so, something glowed softly at the crown of its head. Ahh, what a beautiful light! I should put a hat over it to stop it flying away. The black shaggy thing took his favourite hat, the one he had hung from a tree branch, and popped it onto his head. Perfect. Hirotom…
Parallel World
Originally released in 1976 by Nippon Columbia, this is the final album by legendary Japanese space/psych-rockers Far East Family Band. Droney and far-out electronica influenced by German producer/electronic music composer Klaus Schulze is more pronounced, merging prog rock with electronic music to create something rather weird and wonderful. Although Schulze oversaw the production of the album rather than playing on it (which he definitely didn't!), the synth star here is Masanori Takahas…
Ceremony
Phoenix Records reissues a digitally remastered edition of People's sole album, the legendary Ceremony -- Buddha Meet Rock, originally released in 1971 in Japan. Nobody's sure if the musicians on this recording ever performed as a group or whether Ceremony was simply a studio super-project. Certainly, guitarist Kimio Mizutani  had already enjoyed a certain amount of critical exposure following stints with Love Live Life + One and Masahiko Satoh's Sound Brakers, and it is Satoh's jazzy fuzz guita…

Maru Sankaku Shikaku (Circle Triangle Square) finds the duo moving on from the electric guitars of their previous duo releases to an all acoustic album featuring ethnic instruments from around the globe. Two side long pieces mesh drone music w…
