*300 copies limited release* Recorded during two days in the spring of 2022, Salvado sees Lettera 22 go all in musique concrete. One single long tape loop worming its way around a room through three reel recorders, only sparingly tampered with in the process. The result is far from uneventful or passive though, as all the ghosts in the old machinery seem to come alive. An album perfect for nighttime immersion. Loud playback recommended.
*300 copies limited edition* Five early tracks of thundering noise from the finnish noise king. While perhaps best known as being one half of Testicle Hazard, his solo CD albums Bats In The Attic and Moon Over Torrelorca are modern day classics in our book, and we just felt it couldn't hurt to have some the recorded steps leading up to those albums made available in the compact disc format as well. Three rare odds-and ends kind of tracks, and finishing the disc is Keränen's Green Car Crash, orig…
An excellent glimpse into one of the more poorly lit corners of Swedish experimental sound. This CD collects some of the earliest solo recordings of Joachim Nordwall, under the moniker A.B.O. Our ears catch whiffs of Francois Douris and the likes, but any definite reference eludes us.
“Growing up in the remote south East of Sweden was great for anyone into having a bad start in life. In my early teens I was exposed through my friend Zwarre to suitable music like Throbbing Gristle, Brainbombs and…
Tyler Keen takes an unexpected and exciting turn. Thank You sees him demolish the unrelenting harsh noise he's known for in real time, knocking down walls and cutting wires one by one, rendering it a way more treacherous, perilous and above all open structure than before; imagine a harsh take on the sonic trapdoors of Joe Colley. Helping him out melting things down on two tracks are Kyle Flanagan and Michael Foster.
Tip! *In process of stocking* We are more than proud to pull this trickster out of his shadowy abode and display him to the world. Finally, the album many of us have been waiting for but don't deserve. Cracksteel, M.B., Robert Ashley's Wolf Man, Monde Bruits, British and Italian mischiefs from the 1980's - all filtered through the mind of our menacing court jester. The outcome is as colorful as it is lethal. Wild sonics, sharp corners and contrasts.
Tip! *In process of stocking* The Polygon Islands 7” was orignially released in a sparse edition of 85 copies on Austrian label Syntactic in 1998. The twin force of Mayuko Hino (theremin, electronics) and Hiroshi Hasegawa (synthesizer) here somehow manage to sound more grandiose and fierce than ever, despite the stripped down lineup. Those who have heard their duo pieces from the phenomenal Rocket Shrine CD (Test/Creativeman Disc, 1997) have a hunch of what they're in for. Otherworldly harsh psy…
The power trio Mirande/English/Skinner has dug out a strangely lit tunnel between the dustier nooks and crannies of the rich and varied 1980’s industrial scene and the just as elusively defined experimental field of today where they themselves reside. While it certainly reeks S*Core, Illusion Of Safety and whathaveyou, their very own fingerprints are all over the place, freshening things up. An out-of-time album we are very pleased to offer!
*Limited edition of 300* Usagi is proud present this much sought after gem from the vast Macronympha discography. Released in 1994, Ultimate Vibrator is one of the earlier testaments of Rodger Stella's meticulous editing and mixing genius, and above all his ability to crack open sonic chasms and fill them with the strangest of colors. An older sibling of classic Macronympha mind melters such as Grind and Baroque, but also a more aggressive sonic relative to Stella's work under the One Dark Eye m…
Usagi presents Antarktis by Sewer Election. Six tracks of icy, dry, blistering, barren and unforgiving noise. Recorded and mixed at Studio Malign, Kortedala, 2021. Electronics, metal objects and reel-to-reel tape manipulation. Digipak CD.
Originally released as a cassette in 1994 by Drahtfunk Products, Gnosis shows Mayuko Hino, Ryuichi Nagakubo, Fumio Kosakai, Hiroshi Hasegawa, weaving a tapestry of strange exotic vistas and harsh chafing textures, exploring sonic depths and caverns not heard before or after. A standout and much sought after gem in the C.C.C.C. discography. Remastered by Hiroshi Hasegawa in April 2021, and finally available in a generous edition on digipak CD.
With the LP Dregs in 2018, the Capers sound palette was expanded considerably. On Lungs, recorded not long after Dregs, the sound palette was instead kept at a minimum, and the composition simple, restrained and monotonous. Sparse, ever-sinking, rough, repetitive and patterned noise. For heads into early Zone Nord and Vårtgård. Previously released as a C30 in 2019 by Canadian label Freedom Club, with one of the tracks omitted to better fit the cassette format. Lungs is now available in its origi…
Recorded live at UFO Club in Kōenji, Tokyo, on January 30, 1999. Incapacitants in their finest capacity, blending harsh electronic psychedelia, mayhemic screech and visceral ecstasy. Previously released by OR in 1999 on CDR, now available for posterity on CD in digipak. Also included in this reissue is a 22 minute live document, recorded at Shinsaibashi Club Quattro on February 10, 2001.
