Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a newly remastered edition of the legendary debut solo album by Robert Wyatt. Asbestos attik inzanity
The infamous missed-on-the-internet Griffin's Side B originally conceived for the shocking full lenght "Sikkknastafari Slash Crasstafari" is now available on wax with some new extra tunes like the instant-party classik "ILLUMINKNOTTY DREAD" and the hazy riddim "SPACE SLENG POLICE TENG". This record is dedicated to Antonio Corbetta aka Space Police. REST IN SPACE
Cold Soup
First release from this duo of Tokyo-based guitarist, Tetuzi Akiyama, and New York's Che Chen. Akiyama is in rare "Don't Forget to Boogie" form here; his heavily distorted, locomotive guitar lines chugging away as Chen's electrified fiddle drones, screeches and scrapes. Sine wave generators and a modified tape delay round out the mix. Sidelong live track on one side, studio jams on the flip. Released on Jozef Van Wissem's Incunabulum Records.
Chance of rain
A cerebral exploration of the intersection between rhythmic and ambient music, drawing together ideas of movement and stillness, psychedelia and presence of mind. On Chance Of Rain dance tracks are imbued with unpredictable structures, ambient drift and deep harmonic passages, while keyboard-based interludes reinforce both the far-out and contemplative aspects of the record as a whole.” The tracks on the album are apparently fleshed out versions of live hardware improvisations, a move not unknow…

Use your illusions
After a 12” for the Souterrain Transmissions label and a split LP with Ducktails on No Fun Productions, Dracula Lewis delivers his long-awaited debut full length "U$e Your Illu$ion$"; a title which evokes an imaginary deviant glamour which is synonymous with the teasing nature and sense of mystery which is a part of Dracula Lewis’ world. Working with an abundance of pop based ideas with an abstract mentality, the record brings to mind, in manner and tone, hallucinatory avant strategies that were…
Here Come The Cars
A year after the Clean's reunion LP Vehicle (also their first proper album ever) put them back on the international-pop radar in 1990, guitarist David Kilgour retreated with his new Revox tape machine (which he'd been singing about rapturously in his side-project Stephen and elsewhere: "Have you seen my new tape machine?!") and cut his first solo album, Here Come the Cars, issued by Flying Nun in 1991. From the jarring cover image of David through to the last note, Here Come the Cars is a specia…

Guts
Deluxe 2LP version. More voraciously bestial soundwork coming from Daniel Menche -- this time, his chosen theme is the piano, in which he attacks, investigates and dissects with the precision of an autopsy surgeon, adding a whole new meaning to the concept of prepared piano, or should we say, unprepared piano, for an all-out assault. Guts lays out quite possibly some of the finest slabs of Menchian sonic mayhem to date. Slightly different track sequence over CD and vinyl formats due to time…

Cafe Cicago
RESTOCKED things were different in thailand a few years back, since it's inhabited by the sleazy christophersons or lou de preycks of our time, you can not just enter cocktail bars anymore without showing your ID! the idea is simple and plain though: watching the sunset with purple sunglasses and a fresh strawberry diahreah with ice in your hands while listening to classic german kraut or early kraftmenship from the same country! sliding over the autobahn while dreaming away on the analog…

The Marianne
Awesome shimmery concept record about the foamy sea "Kye is proud to present the long-awaited new LP by Folkestone's Call Back the Giants. Improvisation Sep. 1975
Originally released on the Iskra label in 1975, Improvisation Sep. 1975 is a mind-bending slice of drone improv from two of Japan's post-war heavyweights; former John Cage student, Juilliard graduate, and Yoko Ono's former husband, Toshi Ichiyanagi, Takehisa Kosugi, considered by many to be the father of what some called "Japanese Krautrock," and Stockhausen percussionist Michael Ranta. Heavy layers of reverbed ring modulators, threaded vocals, melodicas, pianos, violins, gongs and Japanese biwa…
Police Water
Under the wickedly cryptic title of 'Police Water', Gary War delivers his latest psych-pop dazzler on Sacred Bones - also including the two tracks from his 'Reality Protest' 7". Just as everyone begins to catch up with his brilliant body of work from the last two years, he goes and switches up his sound with reinvigorated song structures, a broader tonal palette and far, far tighter rhythm programming. Don't worry, though, he's not lost the inexplicable post-apocalyptic weirdness, it's ju…
