Another classic album reissued by Phage Tapes and R.O.N.F. Records. An early work of Maurizio Bianchi recorded at Mectpyo Studio in 1981 and originally released by Banned Productions (US) back in 1992 as a vinyl LP. CD packaged in beautiful 5 colour screen printed arigato packs. 2 tracks totalling. 50 minutes in length. Limited edition of 300 copies. As with any early 80’s Bianchi this comes highly recommended.

'untitled #284' was created in 2011 by extensive evolutionary transformation of original environmental recordings made in Lisbon during the year of 1992. These sources were recovered for a commission of the Teatro Municipal Maria Matos, where the composition was premiered on 16 July 2011.

Its purpose was to experience the province and to produce art works to be presented at The Third Guangzhou Triennial, subtitled 'Farewell to Post-Colonialism' in the same year. I spent two months in protected areas of Costa Rica making multichannel field recordings of the different forest ecosystems of Central America.
