*300 copies limited edition CD in 6-panel digisleeve* "A Con Cristal", the third Cranioclast album - or rather EP - originally released in 1987, and "Rats Can Coil - Cats Can Roil" from 1990, are offered for the first time, and together, on CD in a limited edition completely restored and remastered by Andrea Marutti.
Three new tracks based on "Rats - Cats" are also added as a welcome unreleased bonus under the title "Accidental encounter of rats and cats on a turntable"; running time of this new music is almost 30 minutes. "A Con Cristal" deals with bunkers, especially along the European coasts, mainly not in their original function during WWII, but in their post-functional appearance as bizzare sculptures or relics of long-dead cultures, architectures of aggression and more. "Rats Can Coil - Cats Can Roil" already sounds like Rock'n'Roll in the words and it is or it isn't or is it or not ;-)? But the rats and cats are dancing. "Accidental encounter of rats and cats on a turntable" transforms "Rats - Cats" into Metal. Into Drone Metal of course or doesn’t or does or... ;-). But the dogs like that, as was to be expected.
Once again, on the occasion of this re-release, the artwork of the original records has been congenially transformed and supplemented by Deison.
