An album inspired by childhood culinary experiences, where memories and fiction mix in an explosive cocktail of cinema, rock & roll and psychedelia. The album sounds rough, as if it were played live by a band, even though it is instead a one man session. The skeleton of each track is characterized by the most classic of drums, bass and guitar combos. Behind the pseudonym Louis Fontaine is a Paris-based composer, self didact and multi-instrumentalist from Italy, with a passion for soundtracks and library music. His first album L'Obsession is a fictional OST between library music and Italian OST's from the 60's/70's, in a jazz Style. His "Ritmi Moderni" album is inspired by library music from the 1960s and 1970s, with each track leading to a different story.
The idea is that by listening to each piece one after another, each title offers a dive into different universes, through different images, stories, places, and landscapes.
It is a colourful album, reflecting the stories it tells. In most of the tracks, rhythm forms the basis of the musical composition, but the search for themes and melodies remains the focal point of each piece. Each theme can be associated with a visual story.
