"Disincarnazione" is a religious term that refers to the loss of one's bodily nature, attaining an incorporeal state of being. This work goes in the opposite direction, analyzing a range of sounds produced by the human body, focusing on its aggressive nature, searching for links with the primitive animalistic structures within. All the tracks are composed using various breathing techniques combined with close microphone recordings in order to recreate a raw sound effect based exclusively on amplification, saturation, and the limitations of the microphones' internal circuit.
[the word "animal" is etymologically related to the soul, a living organism characterized by movement]
