The Sloow Tapes cassette ‘Earth Rundown’ contains a concert by Portuguese guitarists Margarida Garcia and Manuel Mota, recorded in Lisbon in 2017. The two musicians, both spearheads of the Portuguese experimental scene, have known each other for many years and form a double-headed monster when playing and recording together. Earth Rundown is a slow descent into an eerie underworld full of echoes and distorted sounds. (Sea Urchin)
