2005 release ** "The nearly seventy-minute live recording documents the ambient collaboration of Origami Galaktika with the Berlin project I:Wound and a lesser-known Norwegian, calling himself Inderst Elia. The basis of the sound skeleton is made up of psychoactive drones, which are then supplemented by a wide range of differently modulated rhythmic sequences and especially the most diverse field-recordings - human voices, the noise of city streets, sounds from nature, but also the growl of car and motorcycle engines. The entire recording breathes with emotional charge and sometimes quite clear, sometimes more obscure oriental coloring (in the passage dominated by minimalist percussion, earlier Muslimgauze or Rapoon come to mind). The greatest asset of the Monolake album is then - for a live recording - its completeness, which is quite unexpected."
