Solid copy of John Cage's 1951 first album as a double LP set, it can't get more seminal than this. A piece of history in gatefold heavy cardboard embossed sleeve with stickers.

** condition: VG+/VG- (2 hairline marks on side B with 2 clicks at the beginning, 1 hairline mark on side C, occasional pops throughout / spine partly split and pen marks on front cover) ** The importance and content of this release goes beyond description, Cage's first full album (preceded only by two shellac discs sets published in the 40's) as a double LP set with heavy cardboard gatefold sleave (the two records also being released separately) on the tiny Dial Records (Los Angeles label set up by music enthusiast Ross Russell in 1946 to record bop revolutionary Charlie Parker). It presents the seminal and beautiful Sonatas And Interludes For Prepared Piano performed by Maro Ajemian. This copy also includes Despite some faults (please see conditions above), a solid copy of this piece of history.
