2008 release ** "Splendid debut of Testing Vault, project of dANi/Alvo, already active as a collaborator in other releases of the Italian industrial undergrowth, and produced by our own Final Muzik. The Laughing Torso makes no secret of its influences, above all the primordial industrial of the 80s in its less aggressive and more meditative expressions, those closest to certain ritual music accompanied by the use of the voice in the form of recitations / spoken word, but also the more shady Coil, exemplary in this sense "Tombstone part one"; here and there also appears the omnipresent Flavio Rivabella aka D.B.P.I.T. who with his trumpet enriches the sounds in an excellent way giving depth to the songs, all while Testing Vault demonstrates to know the subject well avoiding putting the foot on the accelerator even when there is the risk of an easy slip ("Out From My House"), something no longer so obvious in these productions."
