*2024 stock* Shed is a master of rhythmic complexity, characterised by classic techno, but also by British club music, dub reggae with its echoes and reverberations and by counter-rotating basses and beats. On this album, he expands his art into unexplored areas. Sampled orchestral sounds become rhythmic material and within the dramaturgy created it sometimes seems as if you can no longer hear a clear pulse. Anyone who, like Shed, is capable of shaping time is always also capable of building a new future, as can be heard on "Towards East". Music with great lightness and self-confidence, but at the same time always moving.

René Pawlowitz - known by his diverse and multifaceted nicknames - is one of the most respected techno/house artists in the industry today. Born in Frankfurt, he first became interested in electronic music in the early 1990s, moved to Berlin in 2002 and founded his first label Soloaction Records in 2003 with the support of the iconic Berlin record shop Hard Wax.

Since then, René has established himself as an accomplished electronic music producer with releases on a number of well-known labels, including Ostgut Ton and Modeselektor's Monkeytown/50 Weapons imprint, to name but a few, releasing his impressive work under aliases such as Head High/WK7/WAX and The Higher. Whether through the track selection in his DJ sets or the raw power of his live show, Shed manages to fuse raw dancefloor blueprints with catchy melodies, harmonic structures and airy arrangements to create an impressive performance that won't soon be forgotten.
