Bossa Nova
** Deluxe Gatefold 180gr. ** Bola Sete wrote or co-wrote most of the dozen tunes, making room for a couple of Antonio Carlos Jobim co-writes. It's a good showcase for Sete's jazz bossa nova playing at its best. Comprising a mixture of bossa nova and American jazz in arrangement, the jazz elements are appropriately muted, adding rhythm and punch without getting in the way of Sete's soloing.

** 2021 Stock ** 40th Anniversary reissue of the first album featuring Nick Cave, before the band’s name morphed into The Birthday Party and prior to the formation of his next band, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. 180g vinyl reissue gatefold LP on Rhino. ‘The Madcap Laughs’ is the debut solo album by the English singer-songwriter recorded after Syd Barrett had left Pink Floyd. That appears to be the pre-release we were given. It is, intermittently, one of the finest albums of its era. Not slick by any stretch of the imagination but full of left-field ideas.
