Island Gardens (BOX : 2 Dvd + Book + Inserts)
* Limited Edition of 75 numbered copies. *  This release is dedicated to the video works of Mike Cooper, a cosmopolitan figure of which musically it seems superfluous to say. But, instead of the well-known and represented musician and sound artist, this publication offers, in two DVDs for almost 3 …

Arbo X
Tibor Szemző is not only a skillful and experienced Hungarian musician but also a media artist with a vast imagination. Acoustic Drawings
In the ensuing half century, Slovenian artist Milan Grygar, who trained as a painter, has dedicated himself to the relationship between sound and image. He has replaced paint wherever possible with sonic elements, interrogated the duration of a line, drawn with sticks, and integrated windup toys that leave noisy traces in his “mechanical drawings.” Grygar incorporates the acoustic frequencies that emerge during art making, but he also writes visual scores that musicians can interpret. His art is…

Shotgun Architecture
** 2022 Stock ** The sound of a gunshot doesn’t usually lead to quietude, while the tragedy associated with the sound seems to demand this. The bang excludes all surrounding factors and attracts all the attention. In a social way the bang is more of an implosion than an explosion. In this is project, Justin Bennett maps space by the sounds generated though shotgun blasts. A gunshot is extremely banal. The bang that is released when pulling the trigger is, in its explosivity, a direct metaphor fo…

It reflects on the way these extra-artistic activities contribute to redefining the role of the contemporary artist as a catalyst of intellectual energies and producer of cultural processes at large. Moreover, it tries to understand if and how these activities challenged the art world's static and modern perception of a…
