Umbilical
“Umbilical was made remotely between Japan and Brazil, which are on opposite sides of the Earth. Even though there is a very long distance, our collaboration became very intimate and close; we named the album “Umbilical” to reflect this connection. The album starts with Michi, which means path or road, embarking on a journey to another place before ending with Endless Urbia where we eventually come back to reality.” – Ayami Suzuki & Carlos Ferreira
