Due scritti imperfetti
Tip! "Due scritti imperfetti" contains three compositions meticulously put together by Giancarlo Toniutti, Deison and Massimo Toniutti. The location chosen for this collaboration was primarily the recording studio in Udine where, in a two-year timespan, the authors met to discuss, compose, record, trim, listening back, sifting out sounds and adapting their electro-acoustic mixtures. The music or rather 'musics' that emerged during this progress, represent different versions of ongoing experiments…
Stratégies Obliques I
From the venerable imprint, Ferns Recordings, comes a truly striking split LP by the brothers Massimo and Giancarlo Toniutti. Both legendary figures in Italian experimental music who first emerged within the '80s cassette underground, "Stratégies Obliques I" encounters them constructing immersive works of musique concrète, deploying Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt's "Oblique Strategies" deck as inspiration. Radical and visionary, sculpting the mystical from the sound of everyday, once heard there's …
Batlahatli
Batlahatli starts where Drookitarlùp left off. Giancarlo Toniutti and James Wyness developed two electroacoustic compositions out of sound materials collected during their European travels in search for drookitarlùp. Exploring different relational morphologies, opening their systems to timbrally charged forms, from two points of the universe, it is true that, albeit the "archaic" descriptor was not entirely apt, they extended their theoretical investigations in music. "Clustering on the geometry…
Drookitarlùp
Giancarlo Toniutti and James Wyness met several times in various European places to compose drookitarlùp, a 23' piece for 42 players with mostly folk, extraeuropean, or self-built and unusual wind, string, friction and percussion acoustic instruments. An orchestra of specialised players, The Kafkian Cladistique Claque, gathered with the authors at Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra, Slovakia. They rehearsed time and again, then both composers conducted one performance each with their specific interpr…
L'Appendino 1849
100 copies only. Limited edition LP with individual trifold poster colour cover. Music assembled from original tape recordings dated 1979-1980. Sounds from several acoustic sources, magnetic tapes, environments. In Giancarlo Toniutti own words: "A jumble from within very old materials, tapes (1979-1980) comprising musical intentions, in their own way, read and reread, built and rebuilt, hung and hung back up. With no epenthesis. In a continuous stream of small precarious and chiseled magmas, sou…
The Sound Placing Land Bridge
During a research in his archive Giancarlo Toniutti found two unfinished compositions recorded with Tiziano Dominighini in 1981-1982. Those compositions were mostly made of improvisation sessions using synthesizers and a guitar. Giancarlo Toniutti decided in 2013 to complete the compostions and recorded new material througout 2013 and 2014. The new compositions were made of several field recordings made in the countryside nearby a highway road. All the compostions were then mixed together in 201…

Camma
Original copies of the long out of print LP, few available...A legendary album by the two experimental composers: Conrad Schnitzler has been an institution in the German electronic music scene for thirty years. He studied with Joseph Beuys in the mid 1960s, and in the late sixties joined the then fledgling German rock band Tangerine Dream. He added a bizarre, conceptual approach to Tangerine Dream that catapulted the band to legendary status, documented on the bands first album Electronic Medita…
Tahta Tarla
*2022 stock* Original copy of the long out of print LP album. First pressing from back in 1993, Tahta Tarla is a collaborative recording based apparantly upon long wires strung through the woods with the wind activating some of these wires with each artist seeming to be in charge of the production of one of two sides. For Toniutti's half, the scrabbling textures and aeolian drones are mostly left unprocessed with bellowing rumbles, eeries echoing, and peculiar hisses that seem to come from nowhe…
Epigenesi

"The recordings contained in this work consist in maltreatments of sound-sources, mainly acoustic, performed by me in Udine, in my home-studio and in some other different places, from 5.1.85 to 15.1.86. Such recordings were then by me assembled (technical maltreatment), from 14.1.85 to 15.1.86, and mixed, from 31.12.85 to 21.1.86, in my home-studio in Udine. This booklet contains works realized by me in Udine from 3.9.84 to 29.11.86, and four work…
La Mutazione
**Few copies back in stock, sold out at source** A milestone originally released in 1985 on the legendary Broken Flag label, Giancarlo Toniutti's La Mutazione is renowned in certain circles as a classic and with good reason. The album comprises two subtle and haunting side-long explorations of dark cosmic electronics akin to Klaus Schulze, Cluster, Tangerine Dream, and Conrad Schnitzler filtered through the lens of Maurizio Bianchi, Whitehouse, Nurse With Wound, and The New Blockaders. At the …

84 page Hardcover book with embossed cloth cover & spine, also includes 12 page cd-booklet. Recorded & mixed between 1988 and 1995. Sound sources are stones collected all over the world. Beautiful artist book by Giancarlo Toniutti in collaboration with Siegmar Fricke, that comes with a nice CD (with an extra booklet) "speaking of "KO/USK," there has been a double trajectory in composing/recording it. On one side, following a decision implying the use of such sound sources (stones), a decision li…
