Kraftwerk
The story of Kraftwerk is the story of how electronic music has influenced modern music. When an avantgarde German band called Organisation trimmed down to a two-piece and reinvented themselves as Kraftwerk, they set in motion a train of events which introduced a whole new language into popular culture. Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider Esleben has pushed electronic music further than anyone ever thought possible - pre-dating electro, house, ambient and techno by more than two decades. They are, quite simply, the most influential pop group of the late 20th century.

*2025 reissue* Ralf and Florian (original German title: Ralf und Florian) is the third studio album by the German electronic band Kraftwerk. It was released in October 1973 and it saw the group moving toward their signature electronic sound. This work introduces greater cleanliness in the sounds and intensifies the use of electronic instrumentation, namely synths (Mini Moog, the EMS AKS and Farfisa), drum machines and, for the first time, a prototype vocoder. The formation thus approaches the st…
The legendary 1975 Fairfield Hall Croydon broadcast now available as a high quality vinyl pressing. Broadcast as part of a short UK tour following the release in 1974 of Autobahn.
1995 release ** European CD re-issue with 2-panel cover. "The Man-Machine is closer to the sound and style that would define early new wave electro-pop - less minimalistic in its arrangements and more complex and danceable in its underlying rhythms. Like its predecessor, Trans-Europe Express, there is the feel of a divided concept album, with some songs devoted to science fiction-esque links between humans and technology, often with electronically processed vocals (The Robots, Spacelab, and the …
very rare original UK first 1972 pressing on Vertigo with swirl labels and gatefold sleeve of the double album coupling the first two Kraftwerk LP's from 1970 and 1972. History.
Kraftwerk 2 is the second studio album by German electronic band Kraftwerk, entirely written and performed by founding Kraftwerk members Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider in late 1971 and released in January 1972. Perhaps the least characteristic album of their output, it features no synthesizers, the instrumentation being largely electric guitar, bass guitar, flute and violin. On the second side, the more rock-oriented origins of the group still cling on, mostly without any percussion whatsoeve…
Kraftwerk was formed in 1970 and is widely regarded as a pioneer of electronic music. They built custom-made electronic instruments and utilized cutting-edge equipment to create their signature sound. The album "Autobahn," particularly its title track, brought them international acclaim.
Milan's Palalido, 1981 crackles with Kraftwerk's "Computer World" tour. Robotic rhythms, neon lights, anthems like "The Model" & "Numbers" ignite. A time capsule of synthpop mastery, future sounds live.
Kraftwerk is the self-titled debut album by the Düsseldorf band Kraftwerk . It was produced by Conny Plank and released in 1970. "Musicians sometimes have very poor insight into what constitutes their best work. Bob Seger and Alex Chilton come to mind. One of the most extreme cases of this unfortunate phenomenon is Kraftwerk. The legendary German group’s founders— Ralf Hütter and the late Florian Schneider-Esleben—are/were undoubtedly intelligent people, but for baffling reasons, they refuse(d) …
One of the most influential bands in the last five decades, Kraftwerk virtually established the blueprint, the source code even for electronic music. Founded by classically trained musicians Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider-Esleban in Dusseldorf in 1970, the band has informed and inspired a diverse range of genres and artists including David Bowie, Björk, Afrika Bambaataa, and Joy Division. This early live performance, in Soest, Germany in Winter 1970, broadcast on WDR-TV displays the band in …
**180g translucent blue vinyl, Includes full-size 12-page booklet and picture inner sleeve.** The fourth studio album by the German electronic band. It was the band's first album to fully embrace the repetitive electronic sound they would become known for, although organic instruments still remained part of their sonic palette, and was inspired by the titular German highway system."Though they'd recorded three previous albums, Kraftwerk's modern pop legacy starts with the sounds of a few footste…

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1948, Klaus Röder has developed his interest in experimental music since the 1960s. …
** Edition of 300, 2019 stock** First Edition. 300 numbered copies signed by editor Toby Mott and including a 45 RPM single with a Kraftwerk interview titled ZDF Heute from April 26, 2009. A remarkable exhibition catalog, sold out on publication, published to commemorate the exhibit of 45 Kraftwerk singles from the Mott Collection. The book sports a minimalist design very much in keeping with the Kraftwerk ethic, and is illustrated in monograph style with color images of each single on the recto…
The machine lives. 1997 saw Kraftwerk playing live for the first time in four whole years, and they chose Luton as their stomping ground. Live at Tribal Gathering sees the krautrock pioneers re-emerge from their robot lab, they even decided to give their audience a shock and perform brand new material.
The first side of this fine album features three tracks (Tanzmusik, Kometenmelodie, Klingklang) from a live show in Denver (Colorado) during Kraftwerk's first tour of America in spring 1975. The second side is occupied by a 26 minutes version of their first robotic big hit Autobahn, recorded in Köln in March during the same year. Another great document from one the groundbreaking electronic music bands of all times.
1975 was a turning point year for Kraftwerk and this live set from Koeln is a fine document of the band's live shows of the period. The album opens with an epic sidelong version of the previous year's big hit "Autobahn", their first lucky experiment with highly repetitive electronic structure, they would become known for later, and it also includes a fine rendition of "Ruckzuck", a classic tune from their 1970 first album. This is highly futuristic German Musik of the Seventies at its best.
Featuring two tracks from the previous year’s Autobahn including an epic sidelong rendition of the title cut this 1975 live set from Koeln is one of the finest of the legendary Kraftwerk group’s career. Rounded out by “Ruckzuck”, the first track from the very first Kraftwerk record from 1970, this beautiful set of brilliant motorik jams is crucial for any fan of krautrock and the work of Ralf and Florian.
