Thalassa is the avant-drone project of Aaron Turner (Sumac, Isis, Mamiffer, House Od Low Culture, etc.) and William Fowler Collins. In his many guises, Turner articulates a chimerical aesthetic that intrepidly explores beyond the scope of sludge, hardcore, and post-rock.
