The Empire Never Ended
In 2006, researcher Thomas Knoefel found a mysterious backward-pressed 78rpm record containing a man's voice in a language that remains unidentified; he is assumed to be speaking in tongues, in a state of trance. "The Empire Never Ended" is a transcription of this recording, to be performed alongside playback of the original recording.
