Each of the eleven, untitled tracks by Cantu-Ledesma is accompanied by one of McDevitt’s photographs. »A Bell…« is comprised of a series of impressionistic vignettes. Built from field recordings, guitar, piano, static; these fluttering tracks illuminate moments of human intervention in nature. At times like duelling radio stations, the sound and images jump location, never quite coming into focus. New details are revealed with every listen.
