Originally published in 1979 on Edizioni Leonardi's Squirrel Records label, “Accadde A…” is today one of the most popular titles among library music enthusiasts all around the world, as well as one of the rarest, most sought-after and highly rated records in the vast panorama of synchronization LP’s.
The composer of this album tracks is Luciano Simoncini, who appears here under the pseudonym Arawak. “Accadde A…” consists of twelve instrumental tracks mainly jazz/funk-based, ranging from more atmospheric and relaxed moments, often characterised by acoustic guitar arpeggios, to engaging, fast-paced drum breaks with the flute in evidence, evoking typical Italian detective 70s movies scenarios. The track “Accadde a Bali” in particular has been sampled by numerous artists from the Rap/Hip Hop scene. The laid-back grooves and enticing dreamy atmospheres alternate with more funky sounds to make a truly unique music experience that will appeal to fans of Janko Nilovic, Stefano Torossi, Remigio Ducros.
