Award-Winning Master Pianist Leo Genovese Releases First Solo Album with 577 Records. For over 20 years, master Pianist Leonardo Genovese has been traveling the globe playing unforgettable cosmic music for the people.  As one of 577 Records’ main collaborators, he has made many popular albums with the label.  Now they’re teaming up again for his debut solo release with the company. The dreamlike, two-track Forward features captivating abstract music that can only be described as wild, free, and alive!  It was recorded live at his March 2024 performance at the New York Forward Festival in Brooklyn, an arts-focused event that has become a worldwide phenomenon. 577 Records continues to organize recurrent live shows in Canale Monterano (Italy), Tangier (Morocco), and of course, Brooklyn, NY.  Genovese is a beloved leader in the Forward Festival and 577 Records community.  He even mentored their 2023 SOF residencies in Italy and Morocco. The talented pianist has been playing the piano since an early age and has also mastered other instruments along his professional journey. Born and raised in Venado Tuerto, Argentina, Leo now calls NYC home.  He is known for his adventurous experimental music and recently won a Grammy Award for “Best Improvised Jazz Solo”. Forward will be available on disc and digital download beginning October 4, 2024.
