In 1975, the lead album "Fragment" by the acclaimed UK jazz pianist John Taylor, which was previously only released on cassette tape and hailed as a gem of UK jazz.

Comes in digipak with obi & fold out insert in Japanese. Recorded live in London, January 1975.. "Fragment", the lead album by John Taylor, one of the greatest pianists in UK jazz, was released only on cassette tape in 1975. When it was later released on limited edition CD in 2022, it was immediately sold out, and now it has been remastered and released on 2LP for the first time! Originally released on cassette tape, this is the highlight of John Taylor's performances with Kenny Wheeler and other elite musicians with whom he has worked since his debut "Pause, And Think Again," and a document of the best moments of 1970s British jazz. It is a document of the best moments of 1970s British jazz. The ensemble-oriented performances and arrangements are unique among the jazz-rock and free jazz of the same era, sounding as massive as an orchestra. A solo piano reminiscent of the formation of Azimuth can also be heard. As a listener, I rejoice that these lost recordings are being released to the world once again. (Masaaki Hara, rings producer) John Taylor piano, electric piano Ken Wheeler trumpet, flugelhorn Stan Sulzmann - tenor & soprano Stan Sulzmann - tenor & soprano saxophone, flute Chris Pyne - trombone Chris Laurence - bass Tony Levin - drums, percussion All compositions by John Taylor (From the manufacturer's information)
