Strut Records continues to document the work of obscure Romanian outfit Rodion G.A, here releasing their second offering entitled Delta Space Mission. Originally commissioned for 1984 Romanian sci-fi animation Misiunea Spatiala Delta but never used, Rodion G.A’s 15-minute prototype score exhibits the balanced psychedelic and early electronic sound this intriguing outfit are synonymous with. Remastered from the original reel-to-reel tapes, this recording captures all the grainy, galactic, unbridled experimental essence of a score that can be assimilated to the works of Goblin or German synth legend Conrad Schnitzler.
