Anma Ott is  excited to announce the debut LP of Spemakh, a six-piece surprisemusic-group from across Germany (Saarbrücken, Nürnberg, Berlin, Bonn). Drawing from all corners of the compositional sphere, from free-jazz to serialism and concrète,  and using a wide range of homemade and custombuilt wind and percussion instruments, as well as viola, doublebass, voice-noise, guitar, objects and miniature electronics, the band is aiming for a radical play with uncertainty, involving humour, gesture and collective surprise. Its members are coming from diverse musical and non-musical backgrounds including fine arts, sound arts, linguistics and jazz. During march 2019 the group spent three days at Makroscope in Mülheim an der Ruhr where they recorded the material that is now published as 12" vinyl. The entirely free improvised tracks were captured with only minimal recording means - with only two mics - during live sessions with and without an invited audience. The eight selected tracks were now beautifully mastered by Leo Kwandt in Saarbrücken."
