Doris Norton, founder member and keyboardist of the esoteric legends Jacula and Antonius Rex, was a pioneer in the early electronic/computer music. She began her musical carrer playing avant-garde and progressive music using synthesizers such as Roland System 700, Roland system 100M and Minimoog (Jacula, Antonius Rex). In december 1980 she recorded, at the Fontana Studio 7 (Milan), her first solo album entitled "Under Ground" (Musik Research). Sponsored by Apple computer and the Roland Corporation music instruments, she was more involved in experimental electro computerized music and recorded the masterpiece of electronic dark prog "Parapsycho"(1981), with the help of Alex Cooper (flute), Mike Lee (guitar), Andy Jackson (drums) and Antonius Rex (bass, guitar synth), plus two special guests like Tullio De Piscopo on drums and Hugo Heredia on flute.
This is the 32nd Anniversary edition, the Cd version contains an unreleased track titled Precognition.
Doris Norton is really an Italian Icon of Experimental Electronic Music...a sort of Klaus Schulze in Italian land! so..do not miss it!!
