** condition: M/M ** Original cassette-only edition of a very rare recording made in the first half of the 20th Century of an astonishingly beautiful raga performed by the important Indian classical singer from the Kirana gharana and Pandit Pran Nath’s master Ustad Abdul Wahid Khan, highly praised by Terry Riley and La Monte Young (whom this copy comes from). Incredible music and document, as this is one of only three recordings of Khan’s singing that survived.
