:() # define ':' — whenever we say ':', do this:
{ # beginning of what to do when we say ':'

: # ...another copy of ':' function, which has to be loaded into memory

# all of the functions that it has started should NOT be auto-killed
} # end of what to do when we say ':'
; # Having defined ':', we should now...
: # ...call ':', initiating a chain-reaction: each ':' will start two more.

melt your outer shield, gently penetrate your mind and then pull your body both to a mushroom-covered meadow and to a stark and dirty garage.
tender noise, harsh ambience, and post-rave grooves.
with a particular focus on feedback drones, asymmetrical rhythms and fragmentary vocals.

my practice of daily curiosity involves recording it with a Zoom or a phone. These field recordings, along with a Juno 106 and an SP-404, fuel a deep envy of discovering what will happen when I play one sound with another, or combine this recording in that machine. I use Ableton to produce and give the final touch to a track, and as soon as I finish one, I jump straight into another idea, sound, or noise that inspires me. I never anticipate how it will sound—I'm just going with the flow, having fun, feeling lost, and drifting to the max. This is where I thrive, exploring the invisible.

(the shackle of time)
I slowed down one of my techno tracks 1400% and stripped it down to its bare elements.
then had an improv jamming with synths, sample micro stretches, plenty of tape echo and 808 tape loop splices.

Distorted vocal tones weave through a trembling piano, gently layered with a mysterious arpeggio.

further documentation of our infinite, subconscious, hyperactive reality shifting, drawing a path between a streaming glitch whilst listening to slint, rainforest documentaries and a dehydrated nightmare choir singing about specific regrets

Hydrophone recordings of Nasmith Brook in Marshfield Vermont taken in June of 2024.
Samples taken from The Sound of Your Voice Cassette by Dr. Carol Fleming.
All samples were cut and looped digitally.

exploring unusual behaviours of electronics and sound. Amidst machine havoc, unrepeatable sounds, investigating stress conditions, chaos, and the physicality of new sounds and their impact on the listener.

A few minutes to cross, three steps away, the sighs of the lonely ones breathe in and out. They moan, whistle and coo, sneaking stealthily between the walls woven in the colors of time.

Toiro means 10 colors.
There is a Japanese phrase, "Jyunin Toiro" (ten different people have ten different colors).
I used a single voice sampling to represent it.
I used comical sounds that fit with simple scales and rhythmic melodies.
The only equipment used is a pc and midi keys.

meditative diary entry from a trip to France and Italy at the beginning of last summer, I used mostly edited field recordings with some analog synthesizers and I think of it as a kind of layered diary where the recognition of voices, sounds is lost and you walk through it like in a dream.

The clouds are breaking from above, whilst morphing grains are echoing the surface, shattering slowly within broken rhythms for a short moment.

Bits and Pieces is grounded in personal voice recordings, captured over the years—fragments of moments collected and preserved. These recordings were transformed through synthesis and processing, creating layered textures that form the foundation of the composition.
Among these voices, one remains untouched: a recording of Annabelle Playe. Captured during an INA GRM master class she hosted, this voice stands as an anchor within the piece, preserving its raw, original essence.

made with synths like the Moog Voyager, Ensoniq, and Virus Access. The drums were played on an Alesis MIDI drum kit. It was a great time—we had a studio in a former textile factory, and I could spend endless hours there. There were always ideas and people around, with lots of jams. This track really reflects the symbiosis of that place.

my main inspiration is the floodplain in front of my house and the mountains behind it. I make what music I can with what I have.

improvisation/experiments on an instrument mid-way through being built, being exhausted with different objects/materials. I called it existential shaver in reference to one of these objects and imagining the shaver freaking out at the distortion it was enmeshed with.
