The successful Annie Playlist series, always a best seller at concerts, now in its third installment, was conceived by Greg Lake when, starting in 2012, he discovered the talent of Annie Barbazza and to whom he dedicated himself. A sort of holiday task that began with Lake "commissioning" Annie to record a certain song, chosen by himself - playing all the instruments - and then sending it to her, subjecting it to his famous very severe judgments and, subsequently, to his fatherly teachings and advice.

Given the excellent results of these exercises, Greg finally suggested building shows mainly of covers ("we too" - he thundered - "at the beginning we mainly played covers"), to gain confidence with one's own voice, try out the many instruments that Annie it was already ringing etc.

In fact, as always, Greg Lake's advice proved successful: in 2015 Annie published the first collection Annie's Playlist (name also suggested by Lake), which was followed in 2017 by Annie's Playlist 2, both published by our Unifaun Productions and which they saw, as did the shows of the time, Barbazza accompanied by Lorenzo Trek Trecordi on second guitar and flute.

This third volume represents the enormous leap made by the young musician in recent years which have catapulted the musician from Piacenza towards the heights of international avant/prog: the release in 2020 of her first solo album, Vive (in which friends such as Daniel Lanois, Fred Frith, Lino Capra Vaccina, Paolo Tofani, Greag Lake, John Greaves, Olivier Mellano, Michael Tanner and others participated).

This new chapter reflects Annie's new shows, for which she preferred an intimate dimension, playing alone and alternating with the various instruments and inserting her own compositions. The recordings are taken from two shows in streaming held by Annie during the lockdown from the Elfo studio in Tavernago; others from a show always streamed due to lockdown that Eugenio Finardi held from the Teatro Manzoni in Monza, in which Annie participated and opened solo.
