2025 Stock, rare and out of print compilation. 2CD Recordings from the "Bielefelder Colloquium Neue Poesie", an annual conference of worldwide visual and phonetic poets started in 1978 in Bielefeld, Germany. Performances & contributions by Gerhard Rühm, Carlfriedrich Claus, Henri Chopin, Jeremy Adler, Bernard Heidsieck, Franz Mon, Hartmut Geerken, Friedrich Achleitner, Ernst Jandl, Pierre & Ilse Garnier, Robert Lax, Valeri Scherstjanoi.

When the Bielefeld Colloquium Neue Poesie was founded in 1978 by around 20 internationally renowned authors and academics, no one could have foreseen the great and lasting response that this extraordinary meeting has repeatedly met with for 25 years, until 2002. Neither bound by statutes nor by organizational constraints, the 50 or so authors felt committed to comparable artistic requirements alone. They are and were primarily concerned with a methodical updating of literature that makes new discoveries in aesthetically unsecured terrain possible in the first place and challenges new ways of listening, seeing and perhaps thinking. At the annual conference, they took the opportunity to show each other their latest works or works in progress and to expose them to collegial criticism, to talk about the conditions and prospects of such non-market-compliant literature, to make plans, to try out new things and, last but not least, to present themselves to the public at a large reading with a lot of fun and spontaneity. The audio book is intended to visualize the annual reading in selected recordings.
