**Deluxe Japanese edition, analog version using a 96khz24bit sound source. The jacket is a single jacket x two, a full-length Obi, a lyric card, etc** Originally released in 1972 on Atlantic and often referred to as Tiger, Speed, Glue & Shinki's second album featured some tracks not found on Eve in addition to some newly recorded material with a radically different musical approach. Joey Smith purchased a synthesizer because he thought it was time to try a new instrument because he could play the drums quite well. By enlisting his friend Mike Hanopol to replace the late Masayoshi "Glue" Kabe on bass, Smith was able to create an album with two distinct sections: the first featuring some of the best SGS-esque material ever and the second featuring some excellent electronic instrumentals in the Tangerine Dream style. After the album was released, Shinki Chen chose to record live rather than on record, Kabe found work as a substitute musician for Pink Cloud, and Smith, Hanopol, and Shinki Chen returned to Manila as Filipino superstars. But Tiger, a collection of Eve's sound and a glimpse of where the band might have gone if time, personalities, and copious amounts of illegal narcotics hadn't had their say, is a testament to the band's history.
- This record sits at #15 on Julian Cope's Japrocksampler list of top 50 Japanese albums.
- "We were loose... Joey would break out the drums and stuff. Even when I listen to it now I think 'what a great band.'" --Masayoshi Kabe
