Afterward, Richard Pinhas focused on solo work and took a decade-long break. He explains that the band split due to members' time constraints and a trend of bands breaking up while still successful. The album features urgent synthesizer sounds, intricate drums, and dynamic guitar riffs. Though compared to krautrock, Pinhas was not influenced by it. The cover art evokes a sci-fi/horror vibe reminiscent of John Carpenter's soundtracks.

Klaus Blasquiz of Magma provided the otherworldly vocals. Pinhas recalls their friendship and previous collaboration in a blues band. Despite being unconventional, bands like Magma are still remembered today.
