Neumann, also an artist, sculptor and installation artist, can be heard on the Driff album Bathysphere with Jeb Bishop, Tony Malaby, Taylor Ho Bynum, &c. His use of the Buchla synthesizer reminds of the work of Allen Ravenstine of Pere Ubu fame, interacting and accenting the work of the other players as he creates alien environments and pointillistic inflections.
